The headliners for Sunday at #GMM26!

A new day means new names for #GMM26. Our headliners for GMM Thursday, Friday and Saturday have been revealed and now it’s time to unveil the first acts for Sunday 21 June. On Sunday Sabaton will wage the final battle on the South Stage and Def Leppard will tame the masses in front of the North Stage. Electric Callboy (South Stage) and Alice Cooper (North Stage) are also billed on Sunday.

The Swedish battalion Sabaton needs no introduction! The band around Joakim Brodén and Pär Sundström has been a household name in Dessel since 2007 and this year will mark their ninth appearance here. Earlier this month they launched their eleventh studio album ‘Legends’, a collection of new war stories in their signature Sabaton style. As always you can look forward to a scintillating show chock-full of sing-along highlights.

For over 45 years, Def Leppard have been synonymous with pure, no-nonsense rock. Their 1987 breakout album ‘Hysteria’ featured hits like ‘Animal’ and ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’ but that was long after true hard rock fans had discovered them with the albums ‘High ‘n’ Dry’ and ‘Pyromania’. Their instantly recognisable recipe of hard rock, catchy hooks and vocal harmonies has helped them shift over 100 million albums, inspiring countless other bands along the way.

We got the moves! Don’t forget to top up your energy levels on Sunday 21 June because German party animals Electric Callboy will throw the metal party of the year! In 2024 their mix of pumping beats, roaring riffs and energetic vibes got the entire festival arena moving and come 21 June 2026 they won’t settle for anything less.

Shock rock legend Alice Cooper is another household name in Dessel. In 2024 he introduced us to his album ‘Road’ and this time around he’s bringing ‘The Revenge of Alice Cooper’. For over half a century, Alice Cooper has been synonymous with theatrical live shows featuring electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood, boa constrictors and a ton of hits like ‘School’s Out’, ‘Poison’, ‘Billion Dollar Babies’ and ‘No More Mr. Nice Guy’.
