The first headliner for Sunday 20 June!
Introducing the closing act of Graspop Metal Meeting 2027
Kickstart My Heart! Mötley Crüe are returning to Dessel! With the memory of their 2023 performance still fresh in our minds, the American glam metal giants will be headlining Graspop Metal Meeting for the third time. Mötley Crüe will close the 30th edition of Graspop Metal Meeting on Sunday 20 June. Previously, Parkway Drive (Thursday 17 June), Faith No More (Friday 18 June), blink-182 (Saturday 19 June) and Marilyn Manson (Saturday 19 June) were announced as co-headliners.
Mötley Crüe turned the 80s into a never ending rock-’n’-roll party. Emerging from the clubs on Sunset Boulevard, Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee developed into one of the leading bands of the glam and hard rock scene. With ‘Too Fast for Love’, ‘Shout at the Devil’ and ‘Dr. Feelgood’ they sold millions of records worldwide and were instrumental in shaping the 80s glam rock scene.
Old habits die hard. In 2015 it looked like the Crüe had come to the end of the line until they announced their return to the live stage in 2019. The release of ‘The Dirt’ fuelled a resurgence that resulted in a full-blown comeback and a series of high-profile stadium shows. Mötley Crüe, with guitar virtuoso John 5 replacing Mick Mars, can still rock a festival arena to the core with a set chock-full of classics. Ready to round off our anniversary edition with hits like ‘Kickstart My Heart’, ‘Dr. Feelgood’ and ‘Shout at the Devil’?
