Guidelines & Policy

When applying for a media accreditation, we kindly ask you to first read the Submission Guidelines and the Accreditation Policy carefully before proceeding to the application.

Submission Guidelines

  • Send your accreditation request to press@gmm.be. In return you will get a link to an online application form. Deadline for accreditation requests for GMM24 is June 1, 2024. Requests after this date will no longer be accepted.
  • Each application will be reviewed carefully. If your application is approved, you will be emailed check-in and on-site details, as well as your access vouchers. If your application is rejected, you will also be informed about this. Please do not email us about the status of your application. You will receive a response to your request in due time.
  • By submitting an application, you agree to provide all media coverage about GMM24 to our press office before October 1st via email to press@gmm.be or by mail to our office in Dessel (GMM Festival bvba | Zandbergen 104 | 2480 Dessel | Belgium).

Accreditation Policy

  • A media accreditation gives you access to the festival site, the Boneyard camping, the press area and Press Village. A car park or photo pit voucher is not automatically included. If granted, it will be emailed to you together with your access voucher.
  • A media accreditation is granted when there is a link between the festival and your medium, and will be decided partially based upon published materials of past year(s) of the festival (first timers are an exception). We do not award accreditations to media who only want to cover a specific artist. If you are attending the festival as a media representative, you must cover the festival in its entirety.
  • Our policy is maximum of 2 accreditations per medium. Not all approved media are entitled to a free press accreditation. Paid press accreditations need to be paid in advance by bank transfer before receiving your access voucher.
  • Professional photography is only allowed with a valid photo pass:
    - a photo pit pass allows you to take photos both in the photo pit in front of the stages as well as on the festival site. If your application for a photo pit pass voucher is granted, it will be emailed together with your access voucher. In addition, you must sign a waiver at the press office during the festival. The waiver clearly states that you will only be using artist images for your media outlet and that those images will not be available for sale to any third parties.
    - a site pass allows you to photograph audience and atmosphere on the festival site.No photo pass? We have a great team of in-house photographers. Media who are unable to bring their own photographer or who are not eligible for a photo pass, are welcome to use this service. If you’re interested, feel free to contact us via press@gmm.be.
  • Audio or video recording is not allowed at the festival. The GMM TV production team will provide bona fide news broadcasters with footage from the performances via a video feed. The material will be filmed and shared with broadcasters in accordance with the conditions of the artists’ management and the festival. Usage of this footage needs to be requested to the organisation in advance.
  • Drones are prohibited on and around the festival venue at all times.
