A new week, a new headliner for Graspop Metal Meeting 2027!
Time to reveal our second headliner for Sunday 20 June
World on Fire! We’re kicking off our third announcement week with a new headliner for our 30th anniversary edition. With Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators we are adding a 7th headliner to the GMM2027 line-up! The legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist and his band are set to headline the North Stage on Sunday 20 June. The other headliners already announced for GMM2027 are Parkway Drive, Faith No More, Evanescence, blink-182, Marilyn Manson and Mötley Crüe.
Slash became world-famous as the guitarist for Guns N’ Roses. His typical sound is the backbone of hits like ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and ‘November Rain’. Slash has also built an impressive track record with projects like Slash’s Snakepit and Velvet Revolver. In recent years he’s been recording and performing alongside Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, with whom he has released four albums to date.
In 2024 Slash released a blues album with ‘Orgy of the Damned’, with contributions by Brian Johnson, Iggy Pop and Chris Stapleton. ‘Flying Blind’, his fifth album with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, is scheduled to drop in February of next year. His previous gigs in Dessel have always gone down a storm and next summer he’ll be back for more when he closes the North Stage on Sunday 20 June.
